Today has been a bit of a blah day for me which really puts a cramp in my blogging idea's style. So I decided that because everyone likes a good picture I would enter my library of over 5,000 pictures and pull one at random to blog about. Well, here it is:
This was January 3, 2009. Tressa Lee had just gotten her key to her very first college dorm and was trying to open the door. As you can see from her face in the picture, she was not very successful. LOL Actually, we had built it up so much with pictures and videos to document this momentous occasion, that it was a hilarious let down when it took her five minutes to figure out how to open her door.
Boy am I grateful for the opportunity to have had Tressa come to BYU-Idaho with me. She really made my time there 200% better!
Well was that fun? Let's do it again!
This is a picture of half of the shoes in my closet. I was going to blog about how a girl can't get to many shoes but never did. I was trying to organize my closet when this was taken and found I could fit all my shoes in there only if I just threw them all in with out any organization. It makes for an adventure when trying to find a matching pair to go with your outfit, but hey! I've always loved a good challenge and not many people see the inner workings of my closet anyway.
While we are on the subject of shoes, here is a picture of my latest love and bargain.
I don't have many places to wear them to, but they sure are fun!
There you go. It wasn't anything exciting, but it was a blog post.

Tressa is going on a mission!
Today Tressa's mission call came!!!! It was a blast! Watch and see! Pay very close attention.
And Take two:
I have so many comments on the video. I was so nervous that everyone laughing in the video before she even started reading would give things away. And the second thing (probably my favorite) is that Mr. Right was in the video in footie pajamas! HA I love it!
Tressa is going to the California Carlsbad mission!
And Take two:
So basically, I made a fake mission call for Tressa. I decided to do it about an hour and a half before she came home to open the real one. Elizabeth read her mission call to me over the phone and I typed it up. I had a little trouble with the envelope because it was to big for EVERY printer we had in the house! I think it turned out ok!

I don't know how I get so lucky!
Well, once again Heavenly Father has blessed me with the most perfect job! I don't know how I get so lucky ALL the time! I am basically the personal assistant to the owner of Energizing Spaces. It is a staging and decorating company. I spend most of my time decorating and staging houses, shopping, and buying/moving furniture. I also do some organizing and whatever else she wants me to do. The woman who owns the company is someone who I have looked up to and admired since I was a teenager. So not only do I get paid to do all of the fun things I mentioned above, I get paid to hang out with her! (Don't tell her, but I would totally do it all for free just so I could hang out with and learn from her).
Seriously I try really hard every single day to make it worth it to her to have me around. And Every day I go home feeling uplifted and great about myself because that is the kind of person she is. I am so excited to have this opportunity to work with her and do fun things I enjoy! (It makes me not want to start school full time in the fall because I wont be able to play...I mean, work as much)

A Birthday Shout out!
I just wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY To my wonderful cousin Isaiah.
I wish everybody knew Isaiah because I know they would all love him. I wish that I lived closer to their family because then I could hang out with him more. But seriously people, he is one of the coolest people I know! Every time I see him I am blown away with the new thing that he is doing and mastering. He is smart, funny, a good brother, and a wonderful uncle.

But I think he's the best at being a great cousin! He totally humors me during all my shenanigans and I LOVE it! (Thanks for dancing with me at Aaron and Tessa's wedding Buddy!) So many good memories with this guy!
Isaiah, I just love you! I am so glad I get you as a birthday buddy!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ISAIAH!!!!

My Birthday Party! Every one is invited!
Well, it's that time of year again. In 24 hours I will be 26 years old!! I am excited! I love birthdays. Actually I love celebrating everyone else's birthdays. I am not one of those people who hates getting older, I actually LOVE it! However, I would much rather spend my energy planning a bash for your big day rather then mine. But everyone knows I love a good party!
Anyway, I know all of you are thinking "Oh it's Deborah's Birthday! I want to get her the greatest present!" You're all probably racking your brains trying to come up with something that I would like. Well I already know what I want.
To all my friends and family who read my blog and love me:
All I want for my birthday is for you to go and do some type of service for some one else. And by that I don't mean some random nice act, but something that you thought out and put a little bit of effort into for someone you have been thinking about, worrying about, or are having difficulty loving.
Here's my thoughts behind my birthday wish list. You see I was thinking today about my life. Seriously I think I just have the greatest life! But the thing is, my life is so great because others make it that way. I am so lucky to have the best quality people in my life. I have the best family, the best friends, the best employer, the best bishop, the best ward.....etc. I feel like every single day of my life some one from that group does something to help me learn and grow and become a better person and it fills my heart with love. So I decided that to celebrate the awesome life I have been given, I want to spend the day giving back and serving other people.
And how much better and more effective would that service be if you did something to add to it! Really, I am being serious. I would love for you to join in on my birthday party! You're all invited! Go do some act of service this Saturday (or anytime if you're to busy). I want to share the love I feel with you guys and I bet you'll feel it if you really try to think of something specific and intentional to bless someone's life. And I would LOVE to hear about what you do! I want the stories.
I am so excited! I already have a few things in mind. This is going to be the best birthday ever!
So to sum up, you're invited to my birthday party. What can you get me? Do something special for someone else. That, or a really nice hair waxing kit! ;-)
And for your viewing pleasure and because I don't mind embarrassing myself on the world wide web I present to you my favorite birthday song. I sang it to my best friend two years ago on my birthday. (It's kind of long so you don't have to watch it all. Really.)
Upon request of my mother, here is the actual song so you can hear the lyrics. (It's the first song in this video)

Am I planning to fall off the wagon?
I actually recorded this a few days ago but never posted it. And once again, surprise surprise, my video cut me off again! I know I babbled a lot in this one....seriously I did. But Still that is so rude!
