It has been FOREVER since I have been able to spend time Jazzy and can I just tell you it was so nice! We played Friday night while her hubby and his brothers went snowboarding. We went out to dinner and then just sat in my room and talked. I was motivated to clean my room while we talked and it was awesome! I am so glad Jasmyn didn't mind sitting in my room while I cleaned it. I didn't realize how much I missed her and her sister Amber till this weekend.
Anyway, then Saturday morning we ran a few errands and then went snow shoeing. I have never been snow shoeing and it was way fun!
Before our snow shoeing expedition we were talking to Jasmyn's mother on the phone and she said "Jasmyn has always been good at talking people into doing crazy adventures." But it has never been hard to talk me into a good time. I was always up for preforming a new ballet or climbing out my second story bedroom window like Anne of green gables.
Any way, the snow shoeing was a lot of fun. We went our with a naturalist tour guide and she would stop at all the animal tracks and told us this huge story about what animal it was from and what the animal was doing. Or there was this one point she stopped and started making this bird noise and all these birds came flying down. It was so cool. It made me want to be a naturalist. Don't worry. that desire only lasted about 10 minutes. Here is a picture of the fun scenery.
After our snow shoeing adventure I wasn't feeling well and I went to bed as my little brother who came to visit me went on a date. Sunday however my brother came to church with me and it was SO much fun to have him around! Boy do I love that kid. He is such a good brother and is so good to me. He knew I was sick and so he carried my purse and coat, got up in the middle of sacrament meeting to get me more tissues (I was going through them like no body's business) and made sure I felt like I wasn't going to fall on the Ice as we walked home. Then he and Tressa made dinner. Oh what a lucky girl I am. Here are pictures of me before church when I still looked healthy.
